What is Pilates?

Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates in the early 20th century with the intention of strengthening the human mind and body. It is a body conditioning routine that helps build the endurance of the whole body and emphasises developing a strong core or centre. The exercises can be modified to make more difficult ranging from beginners exercises to advanced. All exercises can be done simply using an exercise mat and resistance bands.

Our Pilates sessions are led by physiotherapists specialising in clinical Pilates. This guarantees you the advantage of their extensive expertise and training. They personalise exercises to suit each patient, ensuring safety and preventing any potential harm.
