Suzanne Adkins graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Northwestern University in Chicago, USA in 2014. She then practiced for seven years as the primary clinical specialist of a hospital-based Balance Centre with an emphasis on outpatient neurologic and vestibular/balance therapy. She also provided intermittent coverage in the inpatient rehabilitation setting, addressing a variety of neurologic and orthopaedic concerns. She became a board certified (US) neurologic specialist in 2017.
She has extensive experience in treatment of dizziness and balance disorders as well as neurologic concerns and has been trained in vestibular rehabilitation (Emory University) and Parkinson’s disease rehabilitation programs (LSVT BIG, PWR!).
She has been a guest speaker at a variety of community educational events on topics including Huntington’s disease, Multiple Sclerosis and Fall Prevention Awareness.
Suzanne loves to travel and has lived in the US, UK, India and Bangladesh.
