Chartered Physiotherapist
Penny is a qualified Physiotherapist from the University of Birmingham and has been working in London since graduating, completing a wide range of junior rotations at St George’s Hospital where she progressed to a Senior Neurology specialist, working in areas such as traumatic brain injury, neuro cardiac, spinal injury, Vestibular, general neuro outpatients and Stroke. For the last 18 months she has been working in the Community with Neuro patients for Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. Despite completing an ‘Advanced Developing Practitioner’ course within Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy (2015-2016), Penny’s true interest lies within Neuro Rehab, alongside a passion for Pilates. Penny is a Certified ‘Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute’ (APPI) instructor, with specific training on how to adapt standard Pilates for people with injuries, as well as Neuro Pilates.
Penny takes a holistic, evidenced based approach to her practice, with the overall aim of improved function and therefore quality of life.
