Leandra graduated from St George’s Medical School, London in 2005. She has been working across both the NHS and private sector for over 12 years and has gained extensive assessment, treatment and management skills. Leandra chose to specialise in 2007 becoming highly a specialised clinician in Paediatrics and Neurology. She has varied experience in the acute setting, community, as therapy team lead in a special needs school, and as acting clinician for litigation cases. Her skills in Paediatrics span from early years through to young adults, with vast experience in managing Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic brain injury, Muscular dystrophies, Hypermobility, and PMLD cases. Leandra also enjoys working with adults, particularly within the field of neurological rehab. She is particularly skilled in managing post stroke injuries, Traumatic /Acquired Brain Injury, spinal cord injury, Multiple Sclerosis. She still enjoys having the opportunity to be involved in Orthopaedic and Post-surgical rehab. She also has experience treating elite athletes within netball and football, and is registered with the Health Professions Council and APCP. Leandra is also a fully qualified Bobath Practitioner having completed the course in 2015.
