Chartered Physiotherapist
Ciara graduated with a BSC (Hons) from Brunel University in 2012. She initially started her career within the NHS, completing her junior rotations within medical respiratory, intensive care unit, care of the elderly, orthopedics, community, pediatrics and musculoskeletal outpatients within Barts Health Trust. She then progressed to senior physiotherapist within the trust in musculoskeletal. Along-side this, she has worked in private practices across London offering musculoskeletal services to both amateur and professional sport athletes.
From there Ciara has specialised in orthopedics and musculoskeletal and is working as a senior physiotherapist at a London BMI hospital. She assess and treats a variety of patients including trauma and elective orthopedic surgeries, soft tissue injuries, chronic pain, and rheumatic conditions. In addition, she is qualified in APPI Pilates and uses this to treat her patients on a 1:1 basis as well as a class setting. She uses a variety of techniques to treat her patients and has a strong emphasis on kinesiology taping, manual therapy, and acupuncture and individualized exercise prescription to help patients achieve their goals and improve their health and well-being.
She has recently started her Masters in Sports Medicine and Exercise, where she would she would like to specialise in the future.
