Chartered Physiotherapist
Caroline is a Chartered Physiotherapist and is registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council. She graduated from Glasgow University with a Bsc in Anatomy and Physiology in 2007 before studying Physiotherapy as a Masters degree at Glasgow Caledonian University until January 2011. Soon after graduating she joined a leading sports injury clinic as a junior musculoskeletal physiotherapist to begin working with amateur and elite athletes on strength and conditioning and rehabilitation after injury.
In 2013 she joined a large private hospital group as a senior physiotherapist and continues to work there treating a variety of orthopaedic post-surgical patients and musculoskeletal outpatients. She is a qualified Pilates instructor and regularly teaches classes to patients of all abilities on a 1:1 or group basis in order to facilitate recovery from injury and to promote health and fitness for everyone. She uses a variety of techniques to treat patients including Acupuncture, dry needling, kinesiology taping and a variety of mobilisation/manipulation techniques. She has a keen interest in Vestibular rehabilitation for patients who experience dizziness or problems with their balance, and understands the severity and debilitating nature of such conditions. She likes to take a holistic approach with all her patients as she understands both the physical and psychological impact of an injury or pathology on a patient’s life.
